“The angel said to the women, "Do not be afraid; for I know that you are looking for Jesus who has been crucified. He is not here, for He has risen, just as He said. Come, see the place where He was lying. Aren’t we blessed as believers to know a God that sent His son to rise from the grave and forgive our sins?! Yes, we are! Easter morning we woke up and the kiddos went through their Easter baskets.
Grant got lots of candy, books and a few toys. Charlotte got a glow-worm that plays music. Grant immediately asked to eat candy immediately…but we decided it was best to wait until after 9:00 in the morning. After Easter baskets the boys went to get donuts and the girls stayed behind to help the Easter bunny hide eggs in the backyard. This was a tradition that Matt’s family had growing up.
After donuts and yes, a few pieces of Easter candy, we all got ready and went to church! What a great Easter morning!
