"Three days later...three days later...three days later, He rose!!
That was the end of the beginning!"
We had a great Easter! After a visit from the Easter Bunny for Grant which included a Snoopy book, Thomas the Train set, Elmo
Easter basket and various other fun things we got all dressed up and headed to church where Nanny, Pop and Uncle Andrew met up
with us. Grammy came down from New
Braunfels to spend the holiday with us as well. After a wonderful church service we all went back to our house for an Easter lunch. Uncle Mark, Aunt Katie and Wesley joined us also after their church service.

Grant and Wesley were very impressed with all of the goodies from the Easter Bunny and enjoyed looking into the baskets together and playing with all the books and toys.

We tried to get a family picture with both of the
grandkids in it for Grammy but that proved to be pretty difficult with two
squirrelly boys who did not want to sit still and look at the camera. That was fine though, they were still adorable in their Easter outfits.

After a great lunch Wesley took a nap and we decided to hide some Easter eggs for grant to find. We had planned on going out in the backyard for the hunt but it was pouring rain so we had a change of plans and hunted eggs in the living room. Grant enjoyed it just the same and loved the Wonder Pets fruit snacks that hid inside the eggs.

Although the
Easter baskets and family time is fun the most important thing we are so thankful on this special day is for the love of our God and the gift of His son through which we all have eternal life!
