This was our first year to color eggs with Grant and he loved it! He didn’t like all the eggs to be just one color though…we had to dip each egg in numerous colors before they were done.
Charlotte just sat in her bouncy chair and watched all the action. Next year she will get to participate!
A bunch of brightly colored eggs for the Easter Bunny to hide and for Matt to eat! (He was convinced that these eggs would be good to eat for our Easter lunch the next day…he was wrong! :))
We had the pleasure of going to an Easter Egg hunt party this year with the kids. It was hosted by Matt’s friend Travis and his girlfriend.
It was so much fun for everyone! They had a bounce house for the kids, lots of yummy food and a super fun Easter egg hunt afterwards.
I think that Grant jumped in the bounce house for 4 hours straight! He loved it! At the end of the night we gathered all the kids together for a photo op:
Then we started to get creative with our photos and put the babies in the Easter baskets!
We are so thankful for all of Matt’s sweet high school friends. We hope that all of or babies can grow up together just like they did.
Half a year!! Crazy how the times fly's by! That big smile on her face tells the story of our 6 month baby girl! She is such a happy girl and her favorite time is in the morning when she first wakes up. Here are her 6 month stats:

It feels like forever since I have updated this family blog! Although my last post says April 2nd I am pretty sure that I am way farther behind that that. But I have a good reason!
Yes, that is right! I have launched Emily Crump Photography! I have been busy getting my website and blog ready and booking my first few clients. I have already had successful bluebonnet mini sessions this year and I am continuing to book new clients! I love it! You can check out my website for more information and to view client sneak peeks!

Chick-Fil-A is one of our favorite fast food restaurants. Grant loves the chicken nuggets and the playground, of course. Charlotte will one day love the chicken nuggets too, I’m sure! And me, yes I LOVE their diet cokes…there is just something about them!
Every Tuesday night they have a Family Night with some type of theme and this time it was dine with Cookie Monster. We knew that we had to be there and Grant would love it! So we packed up the car for an ice cream snack with Cookie Monster.

It did not disappoint…Grant loved giving the cow “high fives” and giving Cookie Monster hugs.
We got the opportunity to celebrate Matt’s Granny’s 83rd birthday this past week. We are so lucky to have her so close so the kids will grow up knowing her and she will have the enjoyment of watching them grow up as well.

We took a trip over Spring Break to see Grant and Charlotte’s Grammy and Papaw in New Braunfels. When we drove into town we were excited to see that the wildflowers were out since we did not see any around the Houston area yet. Nothing is cuter than two precious babies in the wildflowers.
