4 Month Old Check-up

IMG_3696psebw

This week Charlotte went to the doctor for her 4 month old check-up.  She did great!  The doctor said that she is hitting all her developmental milestone and looks like a very healthy little girl!  She was happy, smiling and cooing at the nurses until she had to get two shots and a nasal immunization.  Not fun!

Here are her 4 month stats:

Weight: 12lbs 9 oz. (25%)

Height: 23 1/4 in. (25%)

Head Circumference: 41 1/2 cm. (50-75%)

Four months, four months where has the time gone!  Yes, our little baby is now 4 months old and growing bigger every day!  Here is what she did this month:

  • you moved into your room to sleep in your crib at night.  It was a sad time for mommy but you didn’t mind one bit!
  • you are still “talking” and squealing up a storm!  I even got a laugh out of you…just one but we are still working on it!
  • you are now eating about 5 ounces every 3-4 hours.
  • you are in 6 month clothes and even those are getting a little snug.
  • you are enjoying watching Grant more than ever.  He is quite entertaining for you.
  • you are still sleeping great at night…about 9-10 hours a night!
  • you went to the gym with mommy for the first time.
  • you still love to be held and to be laid in your crib to watch the birds on your mobile.

Bargaining

Grant: “Ok Mommy, I hold Ta-toe for Pooh candy.”

Ha, that is how the conversation went the other day.  I was wanting to get a picture of them together and Grant was having none of it.  I was offering candy, TV watching, everything and he still wouldn’t budge…so I gave up and went about my morning.  About an hour later Grant relented and said the above.  I grabbed my camera and took the opportunity!  It is so rare that I get them together!

New Charlotte Pictures

Since Charlotte did not get to participate in the outside photo session we decided to take some of her inside the next day.  You can’t have more pictures of one child than the other, right?!

It absolutely does not get more cute than that! :)

New Year = New Pictures

We decided to start 2010 off taking some new pictures in our picture frames at the house.  We had been driving around Tomball and found the perfect place!  It was too cold for Charlotte to get out of her car seat this time so we just took picture of Mr. Photogenic, Grant!

Christmas Day 2009

“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”  Isaiah 9:6

We were so blessed this Christmas to be able to celebrate our Lord’s birth with our little family of 4!  Grammy and Papaw came in from New Braunfels to celebrate with us also.  Unfortunately this year I feel like I did not get very many good pictures…a newborn will keep you pretty busy!

We had Matt’s family over to the house for Christmas lunch.  Grant really enjoyed reading books with Granny Wright!  What a blessed Christmas we had!

Christmas Eve 2009

Ever since Matt was a little boy their family always opened gifts on Christmas Eve…and we have always tried to preserve that tradition with Matt’s family and our kiddos.  So on Christmas Eve we headed over to the Crump house for lunch and opening presents.  Grant is always excited to hang out with Nanny, Pop and Uncle Andrew!  This year was also special because Granny Wright got to celebrate with us also!

We thought it would be cute to dress the kids up in their Christmas pajamas too!  We had a great time celebrating Christmas Eve with family!
