Charlotte is 6 months old!

Half a year!!  Crazy how the times fly's by!  That big smile on her face tells the story of our 6 month baby girl!  She is such a happy girl and her favorite time is in the morning when she first wakes up.  Here are her 6 month stats:

Weight: 14lbs 10oz. (25%)

Height: 25in (25%)

Head: 43.4cm (75%)

The doctor said that she is growing right on track and looking great!  Here is what you have done this past month little one:

• you have started laughing more.  You think that Grant is the funniest person ever!
• you are still sleeping like a champ from 7:30pm to about 5:00am then you will eat a bottle and go back to sleep.
• you started eating vegetables – your favorites so far are sweet potatoes and squash.  Green things like green beans and peas are definitely not your favorite.
• you are getting comfortable being in the church and gym nurseries.
• you are in 9 month clothes and those are getting a bit snug.
• you have a constant smile on your face and enjoy watching and taking everything in.
• The day that you turned 6 months old you could sit up all by yourself!  Such a big girl!

Back into the swing of things…

It feels like forever since I have updated this family blog!  Although my last post says April 2nd I am pretty sure that I am way farther behind that that.  But I have a good reason!

Yes, that is right!  I have launched Emily Crump Photography!  I have been busy getting my website and blog ready and booking my first few clients.  I have already had successful bluebonnet mini sessions this year and I am continuing to book new clients!  I love it!  You can check out my website for more information and to view client sneak peeks!

Family night at Chick-Fil-A

Chick-Fil-A is one of our favorite fast food restaurants.  Grant loves the chicken nuggets and the playground, of course.  Charlotte will one day love the chicken nuggets too, I’m sure!  And me, yes I LOVE their diet cokes…there is just something about them! 

Every Tuesday night they have a Family Night with some type of theme and this time it was dine with Cookie Monster.  We knew that we had to be there and Grant would love it!  So we packed up the car for an ice cream snack with Cookie Monster.

It did not disappoint…Grant loved giving the cow “high fives” and giving Cookie Monster hugs.

Happy 83rd Birthday Granny!

We got the opportunity to celebrate Matt’s Granny’s 83rd birthday this past week.  We are so lucky to have her so close so the kids will grow up knowing her and she will have the enjoyment of watching them grow up as well.

New Braunfels Wildflowers

We took a trip over Spring Break to see Grant and Charlotte’s Grammy and Papaw in New Braunfels.  When we drove into town we were excited to see that the wildflowers were out since we did not see any around the Houston area yet.  Nothing is cuter than two precious babies in the wildflowers.

Yummy fruits!

Here was Charlotte after her first bites of applesauce…she loved it!  The first time we tried it she ate the whole jar.  After we stuck with the applesauce for a few days we moved onto banana, pears and peaches.  She loved them all except for the peaches…I think they were too sour for her.  She would sour up her face at them each time.  Next we need to move onto veggies!

Easter Pictures

We took the kiddos to Mercer Arboretum to take yearly Easter pictures.  Some of the flowers were already out and Grant loved running around through the pathways and looking into the ponds with the fishes!

You can’t win them all…either one kid is smiling and the other is not.  Still a precious picture of two precious kiddos.
